The light blue rock cress (Aubrieta Hybrida Cascade Light Blue) is a slow ground cover grower, but when established looks amazing as an excellent creeping plant in a variety of containers or along pathways. It is known for its beautiful light blue flowers.

This perennial plant, Aubrieta Blue Light, creates a carpet-like mat that produces an abundance of light blue flowers from spring to early summer. The blooming period depends on the outdoor temperature in your area.

Aubrieta seeds may be planted from February to June or from September to October for flowering throughout the next year. Plant Aubrieta Blue Light in areas with full sun or partial shade and well-drained soil.

Typically, it takes a year for the rock cress to establish itself, after which it initiates spreading during its second season.

After flowering, gently trim Aubrieta Blue Light to encourage a thick mound growth.
