Wax Begonia Red (Begonia Semperflorens) are wonderful for mass plantings, bedding and will bloom all summer long. They are also great for containers and hanging baskets.
Resistant to heat and drought, begonias will flourish in shaded areas where few other plants will bloom.
Wax Begonia works well in fertile, well-drained soil, rich in humus, neutral to slightly acid, partly shaded or well-lit, but out of direct sunlight.
Begonias are very low maintenance and easy to grow from seeds.

These are growing beautifully in my yard. I started them in a peat pot and they sprouted within a few days. I kept them under the humidity cap and I have an abundance of wax begonias. I will buy these again.
So many babies! This is my first time growing begonias and they did much better than I was anticipating.
